Truly Sobering

This site is for a documentary on the details of a collection of the lynching postcards and other “memorabilia” that was popular around the turn of the century and into the 30’s. This is not for the squeamish but brings to light the horrible brutality and ice-blooded anger that characterized the average lynching.

To understand ourselves, we must search our darkest abysses and learn to avoid the path to those places in our psyche at all costs. Although sometimes, documentaries like this tend to take on a revisionist stance and lose their credibility, the existence of these photographs can never be overshadowed by some sort of political bias. For a little context, also visit the site of the documentary on the Flood of 1927 and explore The Tulsa, OK Race Riot of 1921 with some rare photos.

The evil of man is boundless.

Oscar who?

Oscars? Tony’s? Grammy’s? Everyone knows they are bullshit. The coveted Llama is what everyone dreams about.

GameSpot gave it an 8.6, but the big burning question keeping everyone up at night is how many llamas will it get?? Yes, I’m polishing off the SpittingLlamas review of F1 Championship Season 2000. See it early next week.

CNN.com should know bettah!

CNN.com has changed their look. They do this every once in awhile. I visit CNN.com about 193 times a day. As a professional web developer for an advertising agency, tip number one when redoing your site it this: carry the scheme to the rest of the site you dumbasses! Don’t change the look of the top page, then leave all the drill-downs with the same old shit design.

If you were a client, I would have just charged you $110 for that.

Birthday wishes

Tomorrow is my birthday, and I wanted to share with you all a card a friend of mine sent me online. Of course, with the friends I have, he has to send me a sweet man-love card. Check it out!

Thanks Nectar! As always, I like your ass the best!

His birthday was last week… hummmm… maybe I can find something nice to send in return…. muwhahahah!
