Approximately two years ago, a man in Ghazni, Afghanistan had an argument with his wife. During that heated discussion, he tied her up, beat her, poured gasoline on her body, and set her on fire. Salehah Abdul-Rahman died two days later. Her husband (and I use that word loosely) was employed by the Taliban and is currently being sheltered by them.

The empty-headed Taliban likely puked the same question then that they’re asking regarding Osama bin Laden’s connection to the September 11th declaration of war: “Where is the proof?” And in this we find yet another brilliantly dim example of nothing in the world being “more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
