I love online tools like dictionary.com. Since I work on the Internet all day, it’s faster for me to pull a tool like that up then it is to open a real life, made from dead trees, dictionary.

So when I found the Online Dictionary of Slang, I nearly wet my pants something fierce. Now that I have this handy reference bookmarked, I can now look up terms like:

ate up with the dumb ass adj. 1. strange, stupid; WEIRD. Origin: American rednecks. (”Don’t pay any attention to him, he’s ate up with the dumb ass.”)

Aunt Flo n. 1. menstrual period. (”Man, Aunt Flo is visiting.”)

Now if you don’t mind, I have a wicked case of the green apple nasties and need to borrow some porcelain before I have an accident in my grape smugglers.
