What’s with this site in (Insert Browser here)?

I have been doing some testing and reading and listening to my prophet and I have created this site with CSS, a few P tags and one image. It really only works in IE5.5 or higher and Netscape 6.1. I apologize to those of you who don’t see this site correctly, but it fits all the standards and checks out as Certified with the W3C’s validators. I can only suggest that you download IE 6.0 or NS 6.1.

It hurts me to say this, but Netscape 6.1 isn’t really that bad. I like it’s standards support and it looks quite nice. Seems fast, too. Like everything, your mileage may vary.

that’s it from the techie side. Now back to my other current addiction Bejeweled. You can also play it on the site of Pop Cap Games, who wrote it and have a downloadable version with prettier graphics and better sound and more options.

Do as I say, Not as I do

Rep. J.C. Watts an Oklahoma Republican who supports tighter airport security after the Sept. 11 hijack attacks, apologized for yelling at a policeman who ticketed him for violating new security rules at Oklahoma City’s airport.

Rep. Watts had parked in a new no parking, no loading zone while he was helping his wife carry in luggage. When an officer left a $15 ticket on his car, Rep. Watts became angry. He yelled at the officer then stuffed the ticket back in his face saying, “what good will a ticket do if I had a bomb?”

The FOP has sent a letter to Rep. Watts office demanding an apology, and Rep. Watts has since tried to contact the officer in question to apologize but the officer refused his calls.

This reminds me of a quote. “If God had wanted us to vote, he would have given us candidates.” I don’t remember who said it, but clearly it was someone wise.
