Star Wars Episode 2 Trailer Available Now

Hop on over to starwars.com and check out the Episode 2 trailer. I’ve watched it a few dozen times so far trying to tweeze out every detail I could.

What I found interesting is the manner in which they try to make everyone look 10 years older. The Queen looks older just because they removed the Flippo-the-Clown makeup she wore in Episode 1, and Obi-Wan is now sporting a classy beard to get him in line with Alec Guinness’s portrayal.

While short on plot detail, as in the trailer has not plot hints at all, there are great visuals. Bobo Fett kicking ass and other action shots abound. It looks like, as with Ep1, about 25% of this movie will be completely computer CGI.

Enjoy!

CNN quotes a Jack-off as an offical source

Yes, I was as excited as anyone when I heard that the Star Wars: Episode 2 movie trailer was released this weekend. It will be released on the web later today on StarWars.com.

So special was this fact that CNN, one of my favorite places on the web, did a story on it. But being there is little to know information regarding the trailer, except by people who saw it this weekend as the lead in to Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., they were a little pressed for sources.

So the Jamie Allen, who is I’m sure one of CNN’s top reporters, had nothing left to do but quote people from the StarWars.com message board. It provided some nice tidbits of information, until I saw this.

Some were moved by more than just Portman’s beauty.

“It was freakin’ awesome!!!!” posted jacenggf.

Now I’m sure that Jamie Allen is not up on her Forum-speak, or L33t-speak, but those of us that are know that jacenggf is L33t-speak for jacking-off.

Yes, a CNN reporter quoted a 12-year-old in an offical story. What have we come too?
