We’ve all seen the “bigger penis” emails. My wife even gets 2 or 3 a day. This is certainly evidence of the coming spam wars that will happen. I’d rather write about what these “pills” actually do. The spam emails are annoying and the claims are outlandish. This morning I was promised that my penis would grow 3 inches overnight. How frightening would that be? To wake up tomorrow morning and look down and see some monster between my legs. Or worse, sit down on the toilet in the near darkness only to have that giant penis dangling in the frigid water. Quite a rude awakening.
More problematic are the commercials that I am seeing on TV. These commercials are very much like the ones we see for prescription medicine. They are very convincing and very professional. So now we have this sort of psuedo-medicine being performed and prescribed. This is real trouble.
After a little research (and closing tons of pop-ups), I have found that most all of these products contain substances, whether they be herbal or man-made, called vasodilators. A vasodilators is a chemical that expands your blood vessels temporarily allowing more blood to flow through it.
The theory is that if this vasodilator can allow more blood to flow into the “chambers” in your penis that get engorged with blood to create an erection, then, over time, the length and girth of the penis will increases because of the pressure. And this increase is supposedly permanent.
While this sounds great, there are problems. Medicines taken orally cannot be targeted to one specific body part. So, this means that all of the veins in your body will be affected to some extent by this “medication.” For anyone with a heart condition or high blood pressure this could be a serious problem. Common sense tells me that I don’t really want to be forcing a whole lot of something into a space in my penis that is not large enough to hold it. Common sense also tells me that messing with my circulatory system and my heart is a bad idea.
My take on all this is that it is hype and salesmanship. While it may provide some results to some men, you have to ask yourself if it’s worth the negatives that might occur. If you are really concerned about penis size, talk to your doctor, ask him about these substances and see what he says.
