You got off easy... I once had a political sign "run down" and the culprit left tire tracks in my yard.
Depending on what neighborhood you live in, a political sign is like painting a target on your chest...
If you want to really be a Kerry supporter, just put a big sign in your yard that says "VOTE November 2nd" ... If the masses who are notoriously apathetic show up, Kerry should win in a landslide.</description>

After having his yard sign stolen three times, a Central Ohio man said he got a new sign, smeared it with a thin layer of Vaseline, and sprayed that layer with pepper spray. You might also try putting bear traps around it.</description>
