Happy…Merry… Whatever It Is Called Now

This month President Bush sent out 1.4 million happy “holiday season” cards to his close friends and supporters.

While some enjoy a card from the President, the Christian right is outraged.

“This clearly demonstrates that the Bush administration has suffered a loss of will and that they have capitulated to the worst elements in our culture,” said William A. Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights.

“…capitulated to the worst elements in our culture.” What elements are those? Jews? Muslims? Anyone who isn’t a Christian?

I’m really sick and tired of the (supposedly) loving, charitable Christian religion showing utter intolerance for anyone that isn’t exactly like them.

iTunes Adds More TV

When the video iPod was first launched, I thought it would be a good idea for iTunes to add some programming from the SciFi channel, especially Battlestar Galactica. I thought it would provide just the perfect niche audience of early adopters.

Apple has now done just that. They have made a new deal with NBC, bring many new shows online for download, including Battlestar Galactica.
