This is absolutely hilarious.

I’m watching a documentary on Bible Codes on the History Channel. What else am I going to do on my day off but channel surf?

The gist is there are codes hidden in the bible. That you can use letter skipping to find messages. Like starting with the letter “A” and skipping every 5th letter to spell “Alex is a sexy stud” inside a normal bible verse.

While I think it’s pretty much bunk (the codes, we all know Alex is a sexy stud), they did make two predictions.

There will be a major earthquake in LA in 2010.
A comet strike will occur in 2012 and wipe us out.

So, as this new year clicks in, and the old one goes away, just remember — we are just one year closer to our own deaths.

Or maybe not.
