Microsoft Vista is Rip Off of Mac OS

Mircosoft announced a delay in the release of Vista. Many theories as to why.

But, according to this video demo, Vista looks like an exact replica of the Mac OS.

And why not? When Apple’s machines will fully be able to run Window’s after the intel switch, Microsoft will be competing with the Mac OS directly. Then everyone will see just how terrible Windows is.

That video is BS. It’s someone doing a Mac overview with the audio from a demo of Windows. That is absolutely a Mac.

Wow you guys… Did you eat lead paint chips as kids? They are only proving how everything that people said vista could do at the Microsoft conferece can be done NOW on a Mac.

That is one of the smartest, funniest things i have ever seen. Windows is going to be releasing in vista what Mac OSX already has now. PWNED!

Can i get this version of windows vista on my G4 powerbook? i really want to be able to play games like the sims and halo on my mac but since no-one has ever been able to get around the mac chip system and write games on the mac system then i cant play games. Hopefully windows vista on my mac will let me do that finally!

Idiots, they’re showing what features OSX has, whilst playing the vista description to show all the main features of Vista are already on OSX, nothing new or revolutionary

The purpose of the video needed to show Mac’s OS X. The only error is that they didn’t include a split screen view of both operating systems during the press conference audio feed. The point to be made of the video: why is Microsoft, with all the incredible resources they have, not coming up with entirely new ideas? They could easily create something new (not based off of the file-sharing, FAT system) revolutionary and creative to actually compete with OS X which is is borrowed from the Unix system. What are they actually paying their software programers/ devolopers to do? It seems that they are paying them to spend time studying OS X (X86) based operating systems to “mooch” off their innovations. I’m not trying to say that OS X is perfect and I’m a snotty Apple user. Rather, I would like to see some progressive movements in development. The goal is the ease and funtionality of computers. Lets try and see some of those goals achieved with Microsoft. As far as I’m concerned, from Windows 95 to XP, the matters are only worse. I’m pretty sure if you’re a PC user and you want no problems, you must have three necessary programs. You cannot survive without Spyware remover, Adware remover, and the biggest downfall, Virus scanning software.

Lets cut all this bitch ass comments and just realize: Mac OS X is better than Windows.

I don’t think people quite get the video… the video is NOT showing Windows Vista, it is showing OS X; but it is making fun of Vista’s “unique, new features” by placing videos from OS X doing equivalent things as Gates is talking about the Vista features.

Its funny how all the “Mac” fan boys are pointing the finger at Microsoft for riping off Macs OS. Mac is no better, they take everyone elses ideas put it in a white package and pass it off as a new fangled idea (*cough* iPod, iPhone) sure they look cool, and have nice features, but don’t try and say hey look we have made the first “touch screen” phone, when its clearly not, smart phones have been doing this for ages, they just arn’t white.

I think that both coperations are as bad as each other, doesn’t mater what you use, just enjoy it and shut up!
